Each of us believe in many things. Maybe you believe in God, maybe you assume that the universe is enduring, maybe you have faith that the sun will shine tomorrow morning.
You most definitely have viewpoints concerning yourself: You might consider that you are a performer or an excellent golfer or a adorable person. But you most surely also have negative beliefs concerning yourself: You may think that you are very fat or that you do not have adequate education to earn a large amount of money or that you are not beautiful enough to get a lover. These are your Limiting Beliefs!
And we all have them! Without omissions! You simply have to "listen" to your self talk going on in your mind! Is it always positive? I bet it is not. There will regularly be statements similar to "This won't work", "I am too stupid" or "If only I were smarter".
How do Limiting Beliefs lead to Self Sabotage?
Consider it! If you really believe that you are not attractive enough to get a lover, you will most possibly end searching for one. If you actually believe that you are not learned enough to find a better job, you will most likely discontinue applying for the job you would wish. This is the first step of Self Sabotage.
It might also go further: Let's presuppose you consider that you are not educated enough to get the job of your dreams. And for any factor (maybe your father, some friend or "fate" opened the opportunity for you) you DO get this job. If your Limiting Belief (not being educated enough) is strong enough, you will unconsciously be forced into actions that direct to your losing this job after some time. Possibly you will make stupid mistakes (mistakes that are untypical of you), perhaps you will subconsciously create conditions which direct to your being late at work nearly every morning, who knows!
Limiting Beliefs direct to Self Sabotage! That is a truth! This is not a quality defect, it is just the way it is! And you could just do one thing about it:
Eliminate your limiting beliefs!
